Working with related persons

In today's diverse and interconnected work environments, managing relationships between employees who are also relatives can be challenging. To address this, Council can implement a comprehensive "Working with Related Persons Policy" aimed at maintaining fairness, professionalism, and the avoidance of conflicts of interest.
The primary goal of this policy is to establish clear guidelines for situations where relatives are employed by Council. This policy will discuss equal employment opportunities, the process of recruitment and selection and assurance of transparency and fairness for any potential conflicts of interest.
