Need to upskill your Animal Control Officers?
Need to upskill your Animal Control Officers?
''Now is the time to upskill your employees and prepare, and/or refresh, the knowledge and skills of your council's animal control officers with some of our courses outlined below.
In Queensland, Animal Management/Control Officers play an important role in enforcing animal-related regulations and ensuring the well-being of animals within their jurisdiction.
Your officers help to enforce Queensland's animal control laws; respond to complaints; capture and impound animals; may assist with animal disease control; educate the public; investigate animal bites and attacks; rescue injured or distressed animals and will also collaborate with other agencies such as Police and Wildlife Services to address issues related to animal control, public safety and wildlife management. Every day they manage key and critical responsibilities and need to be equipped with the most up-to-date training programs.
Peak Services offers in-house and virtual workshops for your officers, delivered by our Animal Management Expert trainer Louise Hainey.
Louise brings her extensive experience and hands-on understanding of animal-related issues to each workshop. She has delivered hundreds of animal education sessions to councils and communities throughout Queensland and shared many local case studies as part of her workshops.
