Peak provided independent business planning advisory services for a proposed industrial capacity tyre shredder as a local solution to problematic end of life tyres (EOLTs) affecting Richmond Shire Council and the surrounding region.
The tyre shredding process was anticipated to reduce the environmental impact and cost of tyres entering landfill, as well as current stockpiles, while providing a potential financial incentive through sale of tyre-derived product to recyclers or industry users.
