Building Better Regions Fund – Round Five Released
Round Five of the Australian Government’s Building Better Regions Fund will provide a total of $200 million, incorporating $100 million towards Tourism-related Infrastructure Projects, and a further $100 million for other projects under the Infrastructure Projects Stream and the Community Investments Stream.
The Infrastructure Projects Stream supports shovel-ready projects for new infrastructure, or the upgrade or extension of existing infrastructure that provide economic and social benefits to regional and remote areas.
Round 5: $20,000 to $10 million grants
Grants of $20,000 to $10 million are available to cover 50% or more of eligible project costs based on a scale according to your location.
Your circumstances such as financial capacity, drought and disaster affected areas, and the impacts of declining population may also be considered when determining the percentage of funding you can receive.
The $1.04 billion Building Better Regions Fund (BBRF) supports the Australian Government's commitment to:
-
Create jobs
-
Drive economic growth
-
Build stronger regional communities into the future
