During her time at the Australian Medical Association, Jaaden developed and presented training seminars both in-person and online, drafted employment contracts and policies and procedures, assisted with disciplinary processes, and conducted investigations on matters including bullying and harassment. Further, the role saw Jaaden represent members in the Fair Work Commission for unfair dismissal claims.
Prior to this role, Jaaden was an Industrial Relations Advisor for a multi-national organisation advising employers across Australia and New Zealand. This role involved conducting investigations and audits, issuing Breach Notices for non-compliance, and advising employers on the disciplinary process including termination of employment.
Recently, Jaaden has obtained a Cert IV in Work, Health and Safety (WHS), with this being a particular area of interest. She has assisted business owners with drafting WHS specific templates, completing walk-throughs to assist in identifying hazards, and implementing new policies and procedures with a particular focus on WHS. She intends to continue her studies in this area to become a WHS Officer.
Jaaden has recently joined the Peak Services Workforce Team where she will be assisting to provide professional advice to councils through the LGAQ IR Helpdesk and supporting the team with other legal matters.
