We provide a range of nationally recognised qualifications (local government specific) and council-specific non-accredited short courses as well as other professional development training options.

Synopsis

Our workplaces are ever-changing, and leaders must develop skills to keep up.  The Emerging Leaders Program focusses on improving the skill sets, abilities, and confidence of current leaders, and bringing on the next generation of future leaders.

In our workshop, we cover the following topics:

The Leader:

Communication style, self-awareness and awareness of others, emotional intelligence, developing fundamental leadership style and approach, leading and managing in context.

The Team

Team dynamics, fundamentals for high performing teams, team behaviours for high performance, fair and effective team processes and creating a team charter.

The Process

Four dimensions of leadership, delegation, and empowerment, leading for levels of ability and commitment, and elements of team communication.

The Trainer

Trainer-Chip MckibbenChip McKibben brings with him 18 years of experience in strategic thinking, leadership training and high-performance team coaching. He combines his experience as an Olympic athlete with his corporate experiences in Australia and the USA to provide support for business managers and leaders functioning within a high-performance environment.

His combination of skills helps to uncover a team’s intangible capabilities and turn them into core behaviours. This not only provides a blueprint for success, but also establishes the key indicators for your team’s future performance.
