Local Government Worker

We provide a range of nationally recognised qualifications (local government specific) and council-specific non-accredited short courses as well as other professional development training options.

Who should Attend?

Local Government council workers or contractors who enter private property to perform work.

Learning Outcomes

Upon completion of this course, participants will have the necessary skills and knowledge to lawfully enter private land to repair, maintain or inspect council facilities, and to operate a quarry on private land. Without authorisation from the council and being supplied with a LGW Identity card, a person/contractor cannot enter to perform the work. This includes entry to perform work that an owner/occupier of private land is legally required to perform but does not carry out the work.
